PROJECT OVERVIEW

After a comprehensive audit of his blog, NOT REAL ART founder Scott “Sourdough” Power and I sat down to hash out an editorial strategy that would uphold his organization’s mission to share artists’ work through accessible storytelling. Based in LA, the NOT REAL ART publication operates under Crewest Studio, an arts and media enterprise with a “no snobs allowed” philosophy. The editorial we developed is playful, surprising, delightful, and down to earth, an angle that pairs well with NOT REAL ART’s laid-back vibe and democratic attitude toward creative culture.
